How to Check-Out

1. Remove All Belongings:  Take everything out of your bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, common area. Empty the fridge, cabinets, closets of any items or trash. If you have items in good condition or non-perishable foods you wish to donate, bring them to the Root “Swap Shop.”
2. Clean Your Room Thoroughly: Take all trash to the dumpster, wipe down all surfaces and appliances before leaving to avoid cleaning charges. Return all furniture to its appropriate location/room and lock your bedroom door. 
3. Return Your Key(s) To Village Hall: Check-Out Envelopes are available in the Village Hall Lobby. Fill out the envelope, insert all/any CV keys. Slide the sealed envelope into the mail-slot next to the office door before you leave College Village. Keep your GCC ID Card, if you plan to return in the fall.

*Staff do NOT need to be present for you to return keys / check-out.*

College Village Residence Halls close each semester on the last day of scheduled exams at 5:00 PM
Residents are expected to coordinate travel/accommodations early to be able to leave on time. All building access will be turned off by the closing date if not approved in writing from CV.
Residents with an on-campus obligation passed closing (see www.gccvillage.com/breaks) or registered for Summer Classes (apply for summer housing at www.gccviallge.com/apply) must submit the Extended Housing form at www.gccvillage.com/breaks my May 1st .
Submit the Housing Contract before May 1st to be eligible for priority housing for next year!
